1. Professional Development at West Towson Elementary
February 28, 2022
Ranger Anne Wedgeworth conducted "Calling All Conifers" for four faculty members at West Towson Elementary. The session covered the environmental importance of conifers, distinguishing features of local conifers, a hike around the school grounds to identify conifers, and lesson modeling so the teachers can use the information in their own lessons. She also offered the use of CVP's props to enhance their lessons.
2. Master Naturalist Training
September - November 2017
Ranger Breena Doyle collaborated with Marshy Point Nature Center to conduct Master Naturalist Training for 15 participants. Sessions were conducted at both parks with a culminating field trip to Cunningham Falls State Park.
